That's odd- when I went to my first RCPM show, Steve came out and talked to me and my mom, then P.H. did- well maybe it's because she has his phone number...haha.

Yeah, I know P.H. isn't a mutant kinda person, he just talks to family on the phone after shows, and that can take up a good bit of time. No worries there. I was just saying out of all of 'em, he's the most notorious for hiding in the bus after the show.

I'd just like to say that in the music business fans are always misinformed by the band about line up changes. Just the nature of that beast. And Jim's doing pretty well from what I've seen. He's not Brian, Scotty, or Steve. It blows. But it's the way of things.

I do wish the best for Steve and hope to hear some good stuff soon.

I said that Dalton is a "scary looking hick idiot", because he is. I'm not the only one that thinks that, it's been a pretty decently shared opinion, among people who actually have an opinion not given to them. And the fans of all those bands were quite upset for some time, some of which still are. You don't come in and tell thousands of people to just "get over it", you don't come in and lie to thousands of people, then expect them to trust you again.

Things like this are what causes rifts in bands and fans, and takes money from them. Inevitably, it's on management. While they don't "owe us anything" (and I never said they did), they certainly need to explain why they lied and then tried to pass it off as business as usual.

Obviously there are people out there who don't buy into the whole concept of everything by them is good. Does that make us any less of a fan than you? Absolutely not. In fact, that makes us a bit more so, because we can actually voice our own opinion.

You call Jim Dalton a "scary looking hick idiot" and then threaten to boot the user who responds with "grow up"?? Wow. Jim Dalton is a great guy, how in the world do you figure he's scary looking? Have you ever looked in the mirror Steve??

FWIW, Jim Dalton is a far superior technical guitarist as well.

And given that this is your first post, you won't be back either if you keep going this direction. That part of the topic has been dead for months (as has been most of the other topic). There is absolutely no reason to bring it up and rehash it again.

I have said since , a few times, that Jim is a decent guitarist, indeed. He provides an adequate replacement for Larson and gets involved with the crowd a bit more, but that doesn't make him "far superior". The two have very different playing styles.

I'll do it for you, the attitude around here does not exude what RCPM is all about. Some of the things you've posted here, particularly about a great guy (that you don't even know) like Jim is pathetic.

Yes, Steve has a different style than Jim, and Steve also isn't even in the same stratosphere in terms of technical ability. Jim is an amazing lead guitarist, it isn't even close.
